Jobs and Career Training
Employment options and training are available in dozens of sectors across Rhode Island, including construction, finance, hospitality, manufacturing, technology, and more. You can see job opportunities for which you qualify in the Merit app.
Available supportive services include assistance with child care, transportation, bill payments, medical expenses, groceries, resources for legal assistance, counseling, personal finance, and more. Rhode Island + Merit
HOW IT WORKS
Any Rhode Islander whose employment has been impacted by COVID-19 is eligible to participate in Back to Work RI.
You’ll receive digital credentials or “merits” representing your employment history and skills.
Your merits qualify you for supportive services or job opportunities found in the Merit app.
