Share Your Merits for Easy Verification

Featured Image

Our vision at Merit is for every person to get a fulfilling way to capture and gain greater access to their life’s merits in order to have the confidence, foresight, and autonomy to qualify for relevant opportunities and shape their future.

A critical part of that vision is “gaining great access,” meaning individuals should be able to make the most of their hard-earned achievements by gaining insight into all the opportunities their merits unlock.

That requires being able to share merits, and today we’re excited to launch merit link sharing for simple verification.

For individuals who need to share their credentials on a regular basis, it can be a burden to carry a license or membership card on them at all times. Having the right documents and going through the process of getting verified isn’t always as easy as it should be. We’re excited to announce our newest capability: merit link sharing!

We want to make the credential verification process painless and easy. Individuals can now share their credentials with verifiers by selecting the merits they want to share in the Merit app, and quickly sending them via text or email. No more scanning or copying physical licenses and certificates!

How Merit Verification Link Sharing Works

  1. In the Merit app, click the Share button from the main screen.
  2. Select the merits you want to share and select Share Link at the bottom.
  3. Choose whether to share via text or email, and click on Done.
  4. The verifier will receive a text or email and can then easily verify your credentials. Note that these links will only be available for 24 hours.
