Under limited supervision, this position provides security, general public assistance, and information services by maintaining a high visibility presence to detect, deter, observe and report any illegal or inappropriate actions, observing for signs of crime, fire or disorder and taking action or reporting any incidents to emergency services as appropriate. Reports to the Security Services Supervisor. There are two (2) levels of Security Officer distinguished by the level of work performed and qualifications of the employee.
