The Role

As the Product Program Manager, you will create, support, and execute operational tasks as needed and directed by our Chief Product Officer. This person must be well organized, flexible and enjoy administrative and operational challenges of supporting a growing organization. This role will report directly to our Chief Product Officer.

Merit is a startup environment where you will be expected to roll up your sleeves, take initiative, and get creative about finding solutions to challenges. This is a full-time position, based in Millbrae, CA with travel requirements within the designated region and occasionally elsewhere.



  • Documentation of product team processes
  • Communication of product team work to the company
  • Drive coordination and collaboration within the product team
  • Track work and gather / synthesize / and present regular updates
  • Identify and escalate risks to enable quick effective assessment
  • Coordinate and support collaboration across teams
  • Support interviewing and onboarding process for new product team members
  • Run product team operations including:
    • Keep the roadmap up to date
    • Gather and document weekly updates
    • Gather action items and support coordination to close out open items
  • Support strategic planning process and roadmap adherence
  • Coordinator between multiple projects ensure alignment with business goals


  • Interest in the product development process - potential for growth into a product manager role
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills, technical fluency, and preferably project management experience
  • People person who is excited to coordinate within and without the product team and align many moving parts and people to work to the best of their capability
  • Willingness to approach difficult problems flexibly and with creativity
